Book Paris 2020, the Paris Book Fair

From 20 to 23 March, Livre Paris celebrates its 40th edition at the Parc des Expo-porte de Versailles. And it is India that will come to colour this great annual literary event with many guest authors. On your marks, get set, read!

There are visitors who have already planned the autograph sessions with their favourite authors. Those who prefer to wander with their nose to the wind along the aisles and stands, on the lookout for discoveries, the unexpected, opportunities. Those who have studied the program and go from scene to scene listening to those they have chosen to listen to. And those who just happen to sit there, following the crowd.

The Book Fair is enjoyed as one wants, as one can. A little, a lot, passionately mad. You have a choice: hundreds of exhibitors and more than 350 authors are expected, and already 150 meetings are scheduled.

If you don't know it, you might think that the Salon du livre is above all a meeting place for authors, publishers and readers. Yes. But not only that. Book Paris is much more than that. Thanks to its extensive programming, Livre Paris is also a place where ideas and reflections are exchanged and where questions that agitate the world are invited.

On the different stages of the exhibition, researchers, activists, intellectuals of all kinds are invited to join their words and their glances to those of the writers. New dialogues are taking place, giving rise to debate and reflection. Similarly, major interviews with major figures of our time, such as Esther Duflo, Nobel Prize winner in Economics 2019.

It's a fabulous trip that rarely comes back empty-handed!
