Chic, it's FIAC!

The International Contemporary Art Fair will be held in Paris, from 17 to 20 October at the Grand Palais. Whether or not you are a fan of this art, which is sometimes misunderstood, FIAC is essential! For 4 days, Paris became the capital of contemporary art, impossible not to rub shoulders with it. For the curious and the others!

FIAC has been in existence since 1974. And yet it knows how to renew itself every year. Of course, the great classics that made its success remain. This year, the Grand Palais will once again host a selection of some of the most emblematic galleries of modern art, contemporary art and design on the international scene. Similarly, a beautiful artistic and cultural programme will be offered throughout the fair.

The genius of the FIAC? To succeed in bringing contemporary art out "outside the walls". Throughout the duration of the event, works are exhibited in public spaces, in prestigious institutions and in emblematic places. As you stroll around the Tuileries garden, Place de la Concorde, the Eugène-Delacroix Museum and Place Vendôme, you may come across these sculptures or installations.

Good plan: museums and cultural institutions in Paris often take advantage of FIAC week to offer exceptional programming. Finally, we advise you not to miss the Nocturne des Galeries, a nightly crossing of the capital on the Thursday of the fair, with which many galleries are associated.

The Grand Palais, the heart of the fair, is less than 20 minutes walk from the Beaugency Hotel. Contemporary art at your fingertips!
